LIANYUNGANG CITY TOURISM

Lianyungang is located in China’s central coastal area and the northeast end of Jiangsu Province. It is the starting point of the eastern end of the New Eurasian Land Bridge, renowned as one of the first coastal open cities in China, a National Civilized City, a National Garden City, and the cultural original of the novel Journey to the West.

Now the city is one of the three major tourism resource-rich areas in Jiangsu with two national 5A-level scenic spots, 13 national 4A-level scenic spots, and featured sites such as Mount Huaguo, the hometown of SunWukong, who also known as the Monkey King; Liaodao Island, one of the top 10 beautiful islands in China; beautiful scenery of Yuntai Sea Mountain; Donghai Hot Spring Town; and the world’s largest crystal market.
